"The ride of the 1k-carbon frameset is almost beyond explanation.  It hardly has a dead feel that many riders experience with ordinary carbon tubing. Quite the contrary, it has a lively feel that one would normally expect to find in a steel frame, but the stiffness and efficiency that only carbon can produce. Out of the saddle efforts are immediately rewarded with excellent acceleration, even for an 180+ pound rider on such a lightweight frame. The Gothica descends with confidence and can hold a tight turn as well as any bike I have ever ridden.  The feedback to the rider is it’s most special characteristic. It is not the harsh or bone jarring ride that one would expect from a lesser quality carbon frameset.  It almost WHISPERS back to the rider.  The Cyfac Gothica may be the finest example of 1k-carbon bicycle technology currently available."
